Die Skulptur Seetag besteht aus einem Holzkontrukt und zwei darin stehenden, kleinen keramischen Objekten. Das Holzkonstrukt hat Ähnlichkeit mit einem norddeutschen Strandkorb, ein Holzgestell mit Überdachung zum Schutz vor Wind und Wetter und einer Sitznische für gewöhnlich zwei Personen. Die Zeichnung auf den beiden kleinen keramischen Objekten, die in der Skulptur ‚sitzen‘, stellen in runden Blasen in blauer Farbe schwimmend, Diagramme von Wellenbewegung des Meeres dar.

The sculpture Seetag (Day at Sea) consists of a wooden-structure with two small ceramic objects standing in it. The structure has a resemblance to the German Strandkorb, a special hooded windbreak and seat used at seaside resorts, usually for one to two people. Strandkörbe are found at nearly all seafront resorts of the north and Baltic coast of Germany. The two small ceramic objects ‘sitting’ in the sculpture depict diagrams of water mo- vements in the sea in round bubbles surrounded with blue.
